Important information regarding the current status of KJD Veterinary services following a serious workplace accident.
Dr. Kevin J. Doyle Injured in Workplace Accident
We regret to inform our clients and colleagues that Dr. Kevin J. Doyle, MVB, MRCVS, has sustained serious injuries in a workplace accident that occurred while he was performing contracted veterinary services. The accident was the direct result of negligent safety practices by his contractual employer.
Due to the severity of his injuries, Dr. Doyle is currently unable to perform hands-on veterinary examinations, including fetal sex determination procedures. The timeline for his recovery and return to active practice remains uncertain.
Employer Negligence: This preventable workplace accident occurred due to the failure of Dr. Doyle's contractual employer to maintain adequate safety protocols and provide a safe working environment. The employer's negligence directly resulted in Dr. Doyle sustaining serious injuries that have impacted his ability to practice veterinary medicine.
Legal Action: This matter is currently under legal review. We are committed to ensuring full accountability for this workplace safety failure and supporting Dr. Doyle through both his medical recovery and the legal process.
We believe it is important that the veterinary community and our clients understand that this incident was entirely preventable and resulted from employer negligence, not any fault of Dr. Doyle's professional conduct.
